“The Heron Practice is a GP practice in the Woodberry Down estate, Hackney, close to Manor House and the neighbouring Borough of Haringey. The Heron Practice is next to the beautiful outdoor space of the West Reservoir. As a practice, we are committed to the NHS Green Plan and take part in projects to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce health inequalities. We were grateful to receive an air pollution monitor to empower patients to know about pollution and ensure that they can keep up to date. We are acutely aware of the impact of poor air quality and reduced outdoor space on physical and mental health and want to continue conversations about lifestyle change and wider change in the area. We hope the Breathe London Node will be a talking point and a window into our hidden environment. ”
