“we can see and hear the high volumes of traffic on our local street but the dirty air that the traffic causes is invisible. The threat of dirty air is however very real: it’s estimated that 81 Islington residents will die this year due to toxic air, in addition to a host of health issues. We are deeply concerned about the air that we are breathing. We’re excited to be part of the Breathe London programme so that we can better understand the impact of traffic so that more can be done to tackle the health emergency caused by air pollution. ”
